Very Very expensive site fee.

Granary Farm
We stayed on this CL 16-20 May 2023. When I booked it I was told that the price had gone up to £25.00 per night the owner said that it was well worth the extra fee. When we got to site we found the pitches were very bumpy and a job to find anywhere llevel for the awning. The grass had been cut but the cuttings were not picked up so when they were damp they stuck to our feet and got everywhere. It was a very quiet site and each pitch had its own water tap which improved our stay. In my opinion the Pitch fee was way too high.

Fab quiet site

Granary Farm
Arrival very easy, Jeremy met us at the gate and helped discuss where to pitch up. No windy roads to travel through as it is just off the A518. You can walk to nearby village Stowe from the site, there is a nice pub there called The Cock Inn which we visited each day! Sunday lunch there is lovely! We very much enjoyed staying here, Jeremy is very welcoming and a great host. The site is picturesque with scenery all around. We will definitely return here!

Cheeky Bank Holiday Weekend Break

Granary Farm
Site is easy to find just off the A518. Consequently there is a little road noise but nothing too obtrusive. Jeremy is a very jovial host and very welcoming. We were surprised to find that there were only 3 caravans in total for the bank holiday weekend. But very peaceful and very picturesque approach down a long drive. Jeremy leaves you to pitch up where you want and there are plenty of water and electric points. There are walks available direct from the site although they were quite overgrown. But we walked to Stow and The Cock pub for a pleasant drink in the sunshine and on the Sunday we enjoyed a very nice Sunday lunch after visiting the summer fete at Stow. Very pleasant staff and very nice food. Only downside is that the waste and recycling bins are a good walk down the drive and when using the Elsan facility you are standing in muddy water whilst emptying the cassette. Ideally the area could do with some slabs so that you can at least keep your feet reasonably clean. There are no other facilities and we paid £20 a night. We would definitely like to return at some point.
