Excellent location
This is a part of the world that we visit quite often, but only the 2nd time we've stayed at the site (first time 20÷ years ago!).
Stayed for 4 days mid week and the site was nice and quite, not sure if it would be the same during the school holidays though!
Staff were very friendly and helpful and are keeping the site spotless. The facilities are very clean and perfectly fine, though they are getting a little tired, though again to reiterate, spotless and perfectly usable. So not an issue really.
The access to the wildlife park is great, we found a drive through first thing in the morning, shortly after opening, the back to the site for lunch and sort the dogs out. Followed by a walk round the rest during the afternoon. We found that one day was fine for us, but you might want two if you have kids in tow!
Loads to do and see in the area, which would take forever to list here! Didn't try out any of the local eateries or pubs though. The free WiFi isn't the best, but it does the job, would prefer the better paid service, but not available (yet???),
Overall a great stay and would definitely use again!
