Disappointing for top money

Seacroft Club Campsite
The site itself is well kept and in a good location for Cromer, however they are clearly having issues with staffing. We walked into the bar at 9pm on Friday evening to be told it was last orders! Quite unwelcoming and felt we shouldn’t be there, a family playing pool were also told they couldn’t play anymore and the manager switched the TV off whilst a couple were sat in front watching! At £60 a night twice as much as other sites I was disappointed. The “dog walk” is a 3 minute loop that is no good for anyone…the toilet blocks were disgusting first thing in a morning and shut at peak time for showers. They are dated and again for the price are way below other sites. Won’t be staying again

Don't rely on the 'restaurant'

Seacroft Club Campsite
On arrival at the site, which was the Thursday before the bank holiday weekend we were told the restaurant wasn't open as there was no chef, wasn't a problem as we'd already made arrangements for that night. After a long day of activities on the Saturday - remember this is a bank holiday weekend and the site was FULL, we thought we'd stay local and eat at the restaurant, the choice was 3 types of curry, whitebait and chips, nachos with cheese. I mean honestly, how on earth can somewhere claim to be a 'restaurant' and it obviously be one of the selling points and facility offering/cost of a site when offering such a limited menu. All other food establishments are either a car drive or 3/4 mile walk into Cromer away. The site was as you'd otherwise expect, clean toilets/showers etc but I absolutely would recommend not relying the 'restaurant' because if they can't get it right on an extremely busy weekend - it doesn't bode well for the rest of the days/times. I think in future we'd avoid this unnecessary cost and stay at one of the other sites along the road knowing we had to organise/travel for our food.

Disappointing!

Seacroft Club Campsite
Lovely site which is very clean and well maintained. Friendly, helpful wardens. However, we chose this site for the first two nights of our first proper holiday in our new to us Motorhome because it had a bar, food and a pool table on site. We paid extra for these facilities only to find they were closed both nights of our stay. A letter was given to us but despite asking if we could at least sit inside and play pool we were told no. We would not have stayed at this site if we had known and although it isn't a lot of extra money, given that this is clearly an on-going issue and not an emergency, I feel that at the very least, the clubhouse should have been in use even if no food or drink available. Most other people staying said the same especially as it was unfortunately very cold. I see that another reviewer has also mentioned this so it does really need to be addressed.

Spring break

Seacroft Club Campsite
Just back from 5 night stay. Very welcoming wardens this year and they had worked hard to get the site up to scratch for the opening as it was very tidy everywhere..the shower facilities are looking old now but that’s up to head office to sort a refurb and they wardens kept them very clean..disappointed that the wanderer had reduced the menu to just a few items and then the chef wasn’t there so only open on one night of our visit…hopefully they can reintroduce a bigger menu over the next few weeks as I know we weren’t the only people that felt the same.. The grass was very firm after all the rain and in very good condition so no problems with mud during our stay….and what a joy it was to have dustbins for our rubbish at every water point and not just one rubbish skip as other site seem to have adopted .. Looking forward to our next stay here in June

Enjoyed our break at Seacroft - booked another as soon as I got home!

Seacroft Club Campsite
Friendly wardens - managed to extend our stay and booked an extra night. Found the site to be immaturely cleaned and well maintained - noting the facilities are maybe not as modern as some but still great. Lots to do in the area - we had a lovely walk towards the lighthouse. For foodies recommend Davies Fish Mongers - wonderful Cromer Crabs! Didn’t visit the Wanderer but intend to next time! Booked another trip to this site for May/June.(as an aside and not the fault of the site - noted one idiot with his dog on a long training lead foul other pitches including ours - don’t be disrespectful if that’s you - I have a dog too - let’s all just stick to the rules🙂)
