Perfection

Poole Farm
We stayed here for 9 nights and it was lovely and peaceful where you hear the sound of woodpeckers & owls constantly. Louise & Greg have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Everything is kept immaculate. Lovely bathroom & dishwashing facilities. The meal we had delivered to the caravan was perfect after a busy day out all served with fresh vegetables & salad. The frozen meals were all lovely that were for sale in the kitchen area along with jams, chutneys and various other homemade goods. We did get lost on the way there but Louise was wonderful and stayed on the phone the whole way so we didn’t get lost again. We did worry about getting in and out the entrance but we never did meet anyone coming in the opposite direction. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Another excellent stay!

Poole Farm
Well what can we say about this site that has not been said before.....this is our go to site for our relaxing weekends away. We are always welcomed by Greg and Louise with friendly smile and fantastic service. If you visit you must spoil yourself with at least one of Louises home cooked meals (plenty of choices) but we are greedy we don’t cook at all! On this visit we were accompanied by our 82 year old mum, who said Louises fish pie was the best she’s ever tasted (that’s saying something). All facilities are spotless and unique, with lots of personal touches. Dog field is a good size and a few dog walks local to the site. Always sad to leave but looking forward to forth coming visits planned for this year! Thank you for all your hard work it making your site the best we’ve been on. Paul ,Carol and Bonnie x

1st time here, 2 night getaway break, Relaxing, peaceful, wonderful

Poole Farm
A lovely little site, only an hours drive from my home, had a lovely warm welcome from Gregg, he explained where all facilities were, and lots of leaflets for local attractions, showed us the shower room and laundry/washing up room, where you will also find home made jams, chutneys, marmalades all at a reasonable price, a book swap and a few essentials if you forget or run out, they also offer a food service, priced accordingly, such as evening meals, pizza, desserts, cream teas and pastries, which you can order and they deliver it to your door, there is wifi onsite and the code is provided in your welcome pack,( i didn't use it as i have my own in the van and that worked well) but could be handy for people who dont have it built into their vans, there is a lovely dog walking area kept neat and tidy just like the rest of the site, all clean and immaculate, after showing us around Gregg offered us a drink and left us to setting up, There is 5 pitches onsite all with electric water and waste, also a chemical toilet point for motorhomes and your toilet cassette, what I also liked was a raised dog shower with a ramp for them to walk up to get in there and a blow dryer so you can dry them off, I don't have a dog but thought that would be a bonus for dog owners after a walk in the local woods or along the river which runs along side the site If you need anything all you have to do is ask and they will help you out, Follow their directions on their webpage and not sat nav/google maps, as there is a very narrow little bridge that caravans will not fit across, i checked google maps before leaving home and it wanted to send me that way, so i ignored and followed owners direction through Launceston, takes about 2-3 minuets longer Overall i thought lovely site very quiet, just local animal sound, birds, horses and cows, will definitely be booking again, Well done to Gregg, Louise and there dog Henry for a relaxing stay if only it was for 2 night

Fantastic & peaceful place to stay

Poole Farm
What a lovely site & even better welcome. Louise & Greg certainly make it their mission to give all their guests both 2 legged & 4 pawed a very comfortable & provisioned stay. With very clean & tidy facilities. We ordered an evening meal for the day of our arrival & a desert for me. Which as it was last year was extremely delicious & reasonably priced. Our 2 hounds were given a little individual doggy welcome pack in the form of a big biscuit each & poo bag. If ANYONE is thinking of staying at Poole Farm just get on and book. You certainly WON'T be disappointed.
